I do tend to set up and shoot 'for the jpeg' and like to have the jpeg up for comparison when editing raw. Like OM Workspace it will try to emulate the setting used for the jpeg, with the others we get a bit of a guess or diy. Photolab Elite 6 makes a good fist of it but cannot do everything. The thing with Silkypix is it is one that converts the Panasonic raw correctly, I believe ISL is involved in writing the firmware 'Venus engine' for Panasonic and maybe Fuji too.Īdobe conversion can be abysmal. Silkypix Developer Studio Pro 11 is a bit weird, Tastes are hidden in View/Sub-controls when you might expect them in Edit or Tools. DXO reserved for the occasional high ISO job.
